Appetizer- Braised peanuts (not from cans) -yummy.
Chicken - tender and delicious. People come here specially to eat the chicken...
Pieces of chicken in close-up view.. Salivating...
This are the chilli, dark soya and garlic sauces for the chicken.
Not forgetting the rice... in square pyramidal shape...
Zheng Jiang Pork Ribs. I love to eat pork ribs but there are 4 pieces here ONLY. Haiz..
Close up view of the pork ribs...
Close up views of the bread... The delicious pieces of bread are deep fried and look like luncheon meat.
Sambal Kang Kang. Too hot and spicy, ignited my cough.
Mushroom with broccoli. Broccoli a bit hard to chew because I have a molar tooth extracted.
Boon Tong Kee always lines the tables with red construction paper and wraps the utensils with green construction paper.. The coconut and its water... The flesh is too tough to scoop out but the water is okay.
Almond tea.. quite small amount for the price, not really worth it.. hmm...
Overall, it is quite a satisfying experience dining at Boon Tong Kee. The drawback is very hard to find a parking space and need to queue especially during weekend nights as this restaurant is quite popular.
