Boon Tong Kee Pte Ltd

Visited Boon Tong Kee @ 18 Cheong Chin Nam Road with my parents-in-law and hubby on 4 Sep 2010. Was not feeling well as I was still having flu and cough.

Appetizer- Braised peanuts (not from cans) -yummy.

Chicken - tender and delicious. People come here specially to eat the chicken...

Pieces of chicken in close-up view.. Salivating...

This are the chilli, dark soya and garlic sauces for the chicken.

Not forgetting the rice... in square pyramidal shape...

Zheng Jiang Pork Ribs. I love to eat pork ribs but there are 4 pieces here ONLY. Haiz..

Close up view of the pork ribs...

Close up views of the bread... The delicious pieces of bread are deep fried and look like luncheon meat.

Sambal Kang Kang. Too hot and spicy, ignited my cough.

Mushroom with broccoli. Broccoli a bit hard to chew because I have a molar tooth extracted.

Boon Tong Kee always lines the tables with red construction paper and wraps the utensils with green construction paper.. The coconut and its water... The flesh is too tough to scoop out but the water is okay.

Almond tea.. quite small amount for the price, not really worth it.. hmm...

Overall, it is quite a satisfying experience dining at Boon Tong Kee. The drawback is very hard to find a parking space and need to queue especially during weekend nights as this restaurant is quite popular.

Char Siew Rice near Braddell MRT

Bought a plate of Char Siew Rice at a coffee shop near Braddell Mrt on 2 Sep. I think is $3.
The Char Siew and the sauce are not comparable to the one at Toa Payoh Central...

Char Siew Rice at Toa Payoh Central

Bought a plate of Char Siew Rice at $3 with extra sauce and a glass of hot barley at $1.20 @ Toa Payoh Central near HDB hub and KOI cafe, I think is Blk 190 if I'm not wrong. The barley is not really worth it as it not aromatic enough and quite diluted in my opinion.

However, I really love their char siew (pork) and the sauce! Do Try it if you are in the vicinity!

My blog... Wow

Hi Everybody!

I was ecstatic when I saw that more and more people all over the world are looking at my blog!
Wow~

Here I was in Singapore, thinking there are only a few people who click on my website and so far only 1 reader made a comment (waiting for more). I am really encouraged and motivated when I saw this statistical result for my blog.

Do you know I am really bad in Geography and I don't really know where Lativa is (you can find out more about Lativa here) and I have 15 readers from this European country...

I hope that I can contribute more articles for you in the near future.

Thanks for reading!

:)
