8 months post stroke dad and poor mum
My dad suffered a stroke in a car accident last oct and is paralysed on the right side of his body. His speech and swallowing abilities were affected and had to be fed through a feeding tube.
My poor mum looks after my dad and often breaks down as she is too exhausted. We got her a maid but my mum did not ask the maid to help her. Instead, she looked after the maid, let her sleep early, after 7+ pm and the maid often watches tv by pretending to massage my dad.
My mum had to cook and wash clothes. What an irony. In the end, we sent her back after one month.
It is definitely not easy to look after a stroke patient and my dad is very grumpy and impatient after the stroke. He wants to be wheeled around as and when he likes it, goes back to bed again when he likes it too.
My mum will carry him up and down the bed, to and fro the wheelchair. My elder bro who lives with them, rarely helps.
I don't live with my mum and my job makes it so difficult for me to visit them on weekdays as I work virtually from dawn till dusk. I only visit them on weekends but i often have to bring my work back to complete on weekends.
I hope my mum will stop being so obstinate, let us get her a helper. Hope she allows me to let dad eat ageloc r2 so that perhaps he can recover faster. There are cases where people recover from stroke after eating ageloc r2.
I hope my dad will recover soon so that my mum will not be so tired and so her varicose veins will not get worse. My friend who works in a hospital told me that we should not rub the varicose veins as they might burst.

Nu Skin Galvanic Spa II and my flatter tummy
After losing weight, I noticed my tummy is flatter and getting more curved.
However, I have stretch marks especially on my thighs.
I decided to borrow a Galvanic Spa II from my upline, William and I bought a body shaping gel to do the body shaping.
With TRA, ageloc R2 and Galvanic Spa II, my tummy seemed flatter than before.
My sister was so impressed by my weight loss that she immediately signed up for the TRA package... ;)
There is also a promotion on the spa set n it is very worth the money. I'm getting one...

Pack your TRA pills like this the night before.

1. TRA complex: 3 pills
2. duolean: 3 pills
30 mins later: take your 3333 breakfast,

Apply the cream on the problem areas.
Mid morning

Afternoon

Vegetables!
then shake 2 scoops trimshake with water and coil in the mug.

There might be a stagnant period so do not worry. U must put in more effort and try to break through with a bit of exercise. Then, you will find your weight starting to drop. You must not worry about the weight gain as muscles is heavier than fats.
Hope this helps.

Replaced my shattered iPhone 4's back cover
Replaced my shattered iPhone 4's back cover/casing at $25 at Sim Lim Square.
Initially faced some problems because the guy forgot to remove the external plastic protector from the camera area.
Then I tried to take pic again. Again, faced some problems. If I were not observant, I wouldn't have noticed that and would be so sad. He forgot to take out the internal plastic at the camera area.

After replacing the back casing.
Forgot to take out both internal and external plastic.

The Secret. Law of attraction!
Yesterday, I came across Xiaxue's post on 'The Secret' and I decided to write something on this too.
:)
The author (aka me)...
In P1/2, she was diagnosed with heart murmurs (which meant she had a hole in her heart) when she was young. Since then she was a frequent visitor to clinics and hospital.
She was underweight with a big belly (often went hungry). Her form teacher was a bully who slapped her face for having long fringe, threw her book across the room/ down 4 levels, hit her hands for failing spelling. Her parents always say: Respect teachers, they are always right.
[Hey, honestly, her Chinese-educated Mum taught her spelling and she did very well in front of her mother.
How she failed her spelling...
What she wrote in her notebook:
1. apple
2. orange
3. pear
4. jackfruit
5. watermelon
What her mother tested her:
1. apple
2. orange
3. pear
4. jackfruit
5. watermelon
What her teacher tested her:
1. orange
2. pear
3. watermelon
4. apple
5. jackfruit
What she wrote in her spelling book:
1. apple
2. orange
3. pear
4. jackfruit
5. watermelon
Total score: 0/5
Get it?
Ok, order is very important, even my Mum didn't know and was curious why she kept failing my spelling when the words were all correct.
Inability to adjust to the situation. Teachers were always right in those times.
]
Her family was very poor when they were young. She was like a cinderella in a family with 5 kids and only one sole breadwinner. She was in the middle child with an elder sis, elder bro, younger sis and younger bro. Her dad often gambled away the money or spent on other women. Loan sharks would call our phone non stop, come hitting on the door. Our phone numbers were often changed. The best meal of the day was dinner. Leftovers from dinner would always be re-heated as breakfast and eventually lunch. Primary school was just a stone's throw away.
She prayed to her God every night (she believed that all gods are actually the one and the same as long as her God can answer her prayers.)that she could pick up 10/20/50 cents or a dollar so that she could buy things like stationery/food when she was young and she did.
She prayed that she could live beyond 21 and she did.
When she was 11, she suffered from a high fever and was hospitalised for a week. She struggled with medical conditions all her life but never gave up.
She prayed she could get a good education and get a degree so that she can come out of the vicious poverty cycle.
She prayed that she could get free dinner after any seminar in university ( hey, engineering degree is really very tedious, went for lessons for 4 years for 5.5 days a week in school, stayed from dawn till dusk on weekdays, dawn to 1-2 pm on sat. we were poor remember?!) Her brother studied in the same course but in a more prestigious university. Her dad bought her brother a laptop. She begged very hard and got a desktop to share with her remaining 3 siblings.
She made a wish to be married by 28 and she did. She was lucky, snatched up a handsome, muscular young man (still handsome and muscular and looks like her son now - remember now she puts on so much weight?!).
Gradually she forgot to give her thanks and took things for granted.
She suffered from health issues and the more negative she was, the more health problems surfaced before they were even properly addressed/ eradicated. Her weight increased.
She came across a video on the secret more than a year ago.
If she has given up, she would have felt upset and that will create a multiplier effect which will avalanche into a greater problem.
The secret of success. The law of attraction! Think positive~!
Her father will recover from his stroke and able to move his paralysed side by Dec 2012.
She will lose at least 15kg weight by Oct 2012.
She will conceive her first child (children also can, she does not mind twins!!! Btw, with her hubby of course!) by Dec 2012.
She will publish a book and earn lots of royalty by end 2013.
She will to get double her current pay by end 2013.
She will have a million SGD in her bank by 2014!
She wants to win a dream house (best is a bungalow in district 10) by 2015, (throw in the free renovation as well).
She will get sponsored for fertility treatments! dental implants! chiropractic treatments to straighten her spine! colon surgery to sew up the internal injury! specialist treatments for her carpel tunnel and plantar fasciitis! gum graft for her receding gums!! make up diploma for her interest!
She will have 100 followers by July 2012, 1000 by Dec 2012 on this blog.

My colleague 3 weeks after taking Ageloc R2, Nu Skin
My colleague asked me why I didn't seem to have eye bags so I shared with her about Ageloc R2.
She took the Ageloc R2 for about 3 weeks.
We looked at her and we find her eye bags have improved slightly, her skin (look at the chin) improved quite a lot and her energy level increased as well. She is more energetic and her eyes have more sparkle.

Operation Use it Up!
Used up these items...
From Left to Right: Jurlique Arnica Mint Shampoo, Decleor Arome Tonic, NU Skin dermatic effects body contouring lotion. Dermalogica conditioning body wash.
Jurlique Arnica Mint Shampoo - can be used daily to cleanse oily hair. I washed my hair with it, rinsing and adding shampoo 2-3 times to get rid of the oil in my hair. It bubbles easily with water and is gentle to the hands.
Decleor Arome Tonic smells very nice!!! It smells fragrant and calms nerves. However, the smell does not stay long... So I tended to spray more. If I'm not wrong, it contains essential oils... Can be used up quite fast given its price is quite high...
NU Skin dermatic effects body contouring lotion removes cellulite and I see some effects on my thighs... This is part of the TRA package. It is quite expensive for a small tube. I'm supposed to apply it twice a day on the problematic areas. However, usually only apply once a day and it is used up very fast!
$82. A costly body wash which smells very good. Calms nerves and relaxes your mind.
Items to be used up soon...
Left about 0.5-1cm in each bottle...
From left to right: Payot lotion (toner), Gapbody Loveshack, Gapbody Raincheck, Ralph Ralph Lauren eau de toilette
Payot lotion (toner). There is a rose-like smell but I didn't really like the smell. This toner hydrates your skin well and prepares your skin for further treatment. I prefer if there is a spray nozzle instead...
Fantastic body lotion! Smells great and moisturises! The fragrance sticks with you...Do get them if you can find them. I prefer the floral smell of loveshack! $9.90 each when I bought them... I don't think you can find it now...
This is heavenly. I love this fragrance!!! Great and it lasts longer than most eau de toilette...
Asked my hubby to give it to me while he was using it! It smells so good! I want a second bottle! :) *Hint hint...*
