Nikon camera L21 at SSC

Got a nikon camera and a 4G SDHC card FREE at SSC for the latest promotion for this month!

 I was so unlucky, being the 101 customer to redeem my stuff, and I lost out on $50 capital vouchers as people in front of me suddenly appeared with all their family members or friends in tow. Just my luck or the lack of it!

There is some unfairness in the system as more than 70 cameras were redeemed in the first day when each capital card holder can only get 4 stamps and there is nothing to ensure that combination of stamps from a family were not allowed. I also had to queue a very long time as members of some families queued up in front without any receipts or stickers and because of their Time management Strategy and thick-skinnedness, they managed to 'coup' many cameras, charging bays and vouchers. I fedback to the staff but she said it was all along like that.

We queued for 3-4 hours just to get one camera. It was our fault that we purposely walked around waiting for the redemption counter to start before we queued for redemption. The redemption counter took a long time to process the redemption while one staff was busy chit-chatting with an irritating guy in front of me whose family got 2 set of cameras and she didn't reply me politely.

Nonetheless, I was pretty happy with the free camera I got but I think the system could be improved better and that perhaps each address/ family/ each person who queue up can only get one number so that others can get a chance to get/win something.

If by the first 2-3 days, all items are redeemed, I don't think people would want to go shopping at SSC coz some customers without capital card or after the first 300 customers to redeem, will also feel demoralised and boycott the mall.. I think the camera is quite handy even though it is not the high end type, it comes with a 4Gb free memory card so I think I am still luckier than most people coz I have the capital card.

Bought Drugstore items, old navy and bath and body works. I suspect that after the Vconcierge successfully helped me to make purchase, they actually went on to promote Bath and Body Works on their website. Btw, I received a coupon to claim a free signature collection body care of my choice but it is too late because I received the coupon yesterday and today is the last day to claim but I need the Vconcierge to help me buy coz i have no US credit card.

Bobbi brown brushes

Bought a set of bobbi brown brushes at $280. stupid me got the cover stuck on the eyeshadow brush when i tried to open it. The plastic cap was so hard to pull it out. had to cut it and it spoilt my brush. I wonder if the cover is not able to fit back into the brush tip, then don't include it into the package. Else it must be able to fit back into the brush from the back. I haven't even use it yet and the cover got stuck. SO unfortunate.

stage cosmetics haul 4

Very pissed off.  Today I went to  Stage as I received a voucher for my birthday. I bought a palette box for eye shadows at Suntec branch and wanted a new one but both shop assistants said it is just fingerprints and assured me that they can be cleaned easily.

 It has a long scratch mark and looks like broken. I put in my eye shadows and cleaned the case with a moist cotton pad but the long scratch mark is still there! Hey, I have bought so many things from Stage SG thrice and once from Stage Malaysia in about 1.25 month and I considered myself as a loyal customer.

I hope Stage can offer me a suitable explanation. Moreover, I have put 6 of my unused eyeshadows there. What is this man!

I just reached home. I tried calling but Stage is closed for the day.

Generally, Stage is quite slow in getting to me. I didn't get any notification letter to collect my card and I went personally almost a month later to the Stage Ion which was going to close down. Didn't even get to use the free 50$ makeover coz it expired. And I had the impresssion that Stage is going to send me some vouchers (10% of what I spent??) by June?

Went to Kim Robinson on 7 June and had my hair cut FOC! This is because the other time, when I bought the bazzar magazine, I received a FREE hair shampoo and on top of that, a FREE hair cut by SHA SHA.

I also had a free hair wash by hair technician, Desmond who also gave a short shoulder massage

Sha Sha, my pretty and trendy hairstylist, is from South Korea. With light and swift strokes, she cuts my hair. I am quite satisfied with the haircut.

Sha Sha gave me some vouchers after the haircut.

Shipment arrived on 7 may afternoon! Was very happy to receive this in my mail. I have enjoyed the free shipping offer( free shipping for anything above USD15) and poor Toma from the Makeup Mix shop actually paid USD 8.96 for postage!

Hmm. the elf complexion palette looked quite old with brown spots on the container, the elf eye primer's box was totally flattened and one edge was torn so i took it out of the box to take pic. The glitter eyeshadows were not as I have expected, the thickness was much lesser.. Anyway, i didn't pay too much for these items so I shouldn't be complaining.
From the last time purchase, I used the elf studio blush brush and elf studio complexion brush, ecotool bronzer brush and elf prof. eyeshadow brush. I think the bronzer brush is a pretty useful tool to contour your face.

Anyway below is the most recent purchase.

I went back to log in to the website and I realised that because of the lack of man-power, the orders took quite long to process and it seems that  do not get to enjoy the so called loyalty discount. By the time you thought u accumulated enough to get the 5 % or 10% discount as a reward of spending a total of 60 or 80 USD a month, the offer actually lapsed and you have to start from scratch again!
